For creators

For developers

Build, publish, and monetize AI tools

Describe your tool in plain English. Buildly generates the UI, handles hosting, and distributes it to users. Earn money from paid tools.

Step 1

Describe your idea

Type a sentence about what your tool should do. Buildly's AI generates the name, tagline, input/output fields, and system prompt automatically.

Step 2

Choose execution mode

AI-powered: pick a provider (Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter) and write a system prompt. External API: connect your own REST endpoint. Or bring your own API key.

Step 3

Test with real data

Run your tool before publishing. See exactly what users will see. Tweak inputs, outputs, or the prompt until it's perfect.

Step 4

Set pricing and access

Make your tool free, Pro-only, or paid (per-run pricing via Stripe). Control whether others can fork or embed your tool.

Step 5

Publish and grow

One click to go live. Your tool gets its own page, a REST API endpoint, and appears in Explore. Track usage, ratings, and revenue from your dashboard.

Monetize with Stripe

Connect Stripe, set a price per run, and earn revenue. Buildly handles checkout and payouts.

Tool forking

Let other developers fork your tool, customize it, and publish their own version.

Embeddable widgets

Generate an iframe snippet and embed your tool on any website.

Webhooks

Get notified when your tool is used. Receive signed POST requests to your server.

Prompt versioning

Every edit creates a version. Roll back to any previous prompt with one click.

Developer profiles

Get a public profile at /u/username with your tools, stats, and bio.

Questions

Do I need an account?

No. You can run any free tool without signing up. Create a free account to save tools, view history, use presets, and get API access.

What are paid tools?

Developers can set a per-run price on their tools. You pay when you run it (via Stripe checkout). The developer earns revenue and Buildly takes a small platform fee.

How do developers earn money?

Connect your Stripe account, set a price per run on your tools, and earn on every paid execution. Revenue is split between you and the platform (configurable by admin).

What AI models are available?

Gemini (Google), Groq (Llama), and OpenRouter (multiple models). Developers choose the provider when building a tool. Users don't need to think about it.

Can I use tools from my own code?

Yes. Generate a bld_ API key from your account, then call any tool via its REST endpoint. Full docs are on the API Keys page.

How do I become a developer?

Click "Build" in the navigation. Onboarding takes 30 seconds. Then use the 5-step creation wizard to describe, configure, test, price, and publish your tool.

What is forking?

If a tool's creator allows it, other developers can fork (clone) the tool, customize the prompt or settings, and publish it as their own version.

What is BYOK?

Bring Your Own Key. If the admin enables it, developers can use their own AI provider API keys (encrypted and stored securely) instead of the platform's shared keys.

Can I embed tools on my website?

Yes. Every tool has an iframe embed snippet you can copy. Paste it into any webpage and your visitors can run the tool directly.
